Brief overview of Local 293
We were chartered by the IAFF May 1, 1929. We represent 135 members including 3 fire mechanics. Our current Collective Bargaining Agreement in in effect from January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2019. We are affiliated with the International Association of Fire Fighters, the Pennsylvania Professional Fire Fighters Association, the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO, and the Northwestern PA Area Labor Federation.
