Everyone:
I received the following information about the Erie SeaWolves hosting an Honor the Flag and First Responder Night on Saturday June 24, 2017.
Dave Chiaramonte
Just a reminder, this Saturday (June 24, 2017) is the U.S. Honor Flag Night at UPMC Park. In addition, to this being the "U.S. Honor Flag Night", the SeaWolves have also made this a First Responder Night as well. All first responders can receive a complimentary ticket to attend this game by showing a first responder ID at the gate or mentioning the USHONOR promo code. Discount tickets are also available for their families.
If you would like to be on the field during the singing of the National Anthem, please be at the stadium early and wear an item that identifies your organization (FD t-shirt, etc.) No need for Class A's. Casual dress (off-duty) / normal uniform dress (on-duty) for the event. Upon the announcement being made at the ballpark, all off-duty and on-duty personnel are asked to go to the red and white tent "Fan Assistance Center". Off-duty personnel will be in the outfield, while on-duty personnel will be asked to line the 1st and 3rd base lines during the singing of the National Anthem.
The gates open at 6pm. The pre-game ceremony with the presentation of the U.S. Honor Flag will begin at 6:40pm. The singing of the National Anthem will begin at 7pm. The game begins at 7:05pm with fireworks to follow the game.
I have also been in contact with the State Fire Commissioner's Office, and Commissioner Solobay will be in town for the event.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me via email at richpietron@gmail.com.

Thanks, and hope to see you there,
